gd/pi at bajaj

hey guys..just had my gd/pi process on 23rd at jamnalal bajaj college...we were given 2 copies each of 2 forms..one was a basic information form..other resembled a cv with a few questions behind..we were supposed to fill up the basic form before the gd and the cv type form between gd and pi ill get back to the questions later...for gd ours was supposed to be a group of i guess 18 people...according to numbers on the seats set up but only 6 had turned up..we were given two topics..dot com or doubt com?? and should ragging be banned....we were asked to vote for the topic..3 choose the first(including me) and 3 choose the second..i decided to try convince the others to take the first..but as i was doing it.my two supporters decided they liked the second topic now..so it was decided..i sat back but then noone spoke up..so i started stating that we cannot ban it completely since noone can define ragging and initiation pranks seperately..so it would be a folly..i was supported by a gal and opposee by a guy..and that was the way 95% of the time went..the 3 of us discussing with the rest hardly speaking up...at the end they asked someone to summarise at whch point i decided to sit back(since i had enoughn points and panelists usually ask a non participant to summarise) when out of the blue the guy next to me asked me ..why dont u summarise..taken by surprise i put in bits and pieces and somehow completed a sentence..hopefully it wont affect my score much..then we filled up the form cooperatively (cudnt help it..the girl was really sweet and good looking) their details were as follows..
first we had to fill in acaedemic details
and then the questions were
1.>write briefly about ur family background
2>write about your acaedemic achievements
3>write about ur extra curricular achievements and the highest level achieved
4>what was the most significant event in the past decade of india's history
5>what would help make india an emerging global power
6>write about ur strenghts and weakness
7>tell why would u make a good manager
then came the interview..two panelists.. a man and a lady
1>asked me what backgrnd i had and then to describe bsc chemistry
2>asked me my marks in cet and then asked "so u have a good chance at bajaj" i replied i hope so
3>ur father has a factory of dyes so why did u not do msc???
justified..
4>but small scale doesnot need mangement?
i said but to convert it to large scale we do need
5>if u were pm for a day how would u improve the economy??
6>questions about my extracurricular achievements
7>do u know maharashtra mla's and the portfolios they handle...i had no idea abt the portfolios..
so they asked ok..in the central govt..i cud name 4-5..they said enough
interview concluded..lets hope i score well...
